Mon Choker - Light
A choker piece of Orfebrería Textil (textile jewellery art) by Chilean jewellery designer Icha Vizcarra. Copper and 950 sterling silver wire, bound along the full length of the piece using the trama envolvente (enveloping weave technique), woven on a loom built as an interpretation of the traditional Mapuche two-stake loom. Lighter in arrangement than Mon Dark, with silver taking more presence along the cord, the geometric rhythm more open, more airy.
Each binding is placed by hand. No two necklaces are identical.
Handcrafted in Chile.
Materials: Copper and 950 sterling silver. Dimensions: Approximately 13cm diameter, 42cm length.
