Happy Summer Solstice ☀️
Daniela FuenzalidaShare
The Solstice, the sun “standing still”. The moment in the year when the sun reaches its furthest point before it begins shifting back the other way.
This year, as we’ve done before, we made a pause within the busyness of the end of the year season, to celebrate and honour the peak of Summer.
We got some seasonal fruits, cherries and strawberries (these days, one of our favourites!). My partner baked his famous banana and berries cake. And then we went out for a walk around where we live and collected some flowers to bring home, to set our space with beauty and intention.
The flowers that have started to show more and more these days, filled with sun, attract bugs, butterflies, bees and birds, all coming together acknowledging our summer season here in the Southern Hemisphere.
We gather, we collect, and we come together. We share, we reflect, we acknowledge, and we thank for all the abundance in our lives. The abundance that is there, and that sometimes we don’t really realise.
Having each other, having someone who supports us and believes in us constantly.
Being healthy and happy. Having the privilege to travel to visit family and friends. Being passionate about our work and the work we do with others. And having the opportunity to connect with nature, the cycles and the seasons, as we intend to be.
And you, what are you grateful for today? What feels abundant in your life right now?
If you feel like sharing, leave a comment below. I would love to read it. 💜
Solstice blessings,
Dani
